These are the Terms of Service for the Life on Purpose Academy (LOPA) Group Coaching Programs, Boot Camps, Webinars, and any product you purchase through Shawna Scafe, Simple on Purpose or LOPA where group calls are involved. 

By enrolling in the program you are agreeing to comply with these terms. Make sure to read them through and if you don't agree with them, then immediately notify Shawna Scafe through email that you do not agree and you will be removed from the program. 

SUITABILITY

Group programs and sessions are not a replacement for individual therapy.

If you have concerns about a mental health condition or symptoms, make sure to contact Shawna Scafe through email to see if the program or session is a good fit for you.

CONFIDENTIALITY
You will keep confidential the conversations and people in this group. You agree that you will not share screenshots, video links, audio links, or personal information of who is in LOPA/group calls and what is shared in LOPA/group calls. 

CALL RECORDINGS
Members should be aware that group calls are recorded and available for viewing by program members ONLY.
You may log onto the call with a pseudonym, or anonymously and keep your video off if you wish for anonymity. 

The purpose of the call recordings is to share the replay with those who signed up for the session. The replay access is time-limited for 2 weeks following the session. 

Portions of the call recording may also be shared with Shawna Scafe's supervisor for the purposes of clinical supervision. Supervision is for the purposes of certification with the Canadian Professional Counsellor's Association. Your engagement in these sessions infers your permission for Shawna Scafe to share portions of the recording with her Supervisor.  You may revoke this permission verbally or in writing to Shawna Scafe.  

SERVICE
Shawna Scafe, of Simple on Purpose, will be providing you with any applicable program that is outlined in the product you purchased. 

Shawna Scafe is a Registered Professional Counsellor - Candidate with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association. Member Number 4365. 

Group calls and workshops include a live coaching portion. Attendees are encouraged to share their questions in the chat. Attendees may also volunteer to come on video and receive live coaching from Shawna. There is no guarantee for all group session and workshop attendees to receive live coaching, as it is time permitting. 

The program does not include private coaching/counselling sessions with Shawna Scafe, these may be purchased separately.  

Any changes to this service will be emailed to all group session and workshop members. 

REFUNDS
Due to the nature of this program, we do not issue refunds. 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Content on this site has been created by Shawna Scafe and is subject to applicable Canadian Copyright Laws. 
Your access to this content is for your personal use and you may not distribute it, copy it, reproduce it in any way without express written consent from Shawna Scafe. 

By accessing the group discussions and coaching calls your information may be used as examples in future teaching by Shawna Scafe, all efforts are made to not share any personally identifying details.  Your use of this program grants Shawna Scafe the rights, royalty free, to adapt and use this information in future public materials. Your confidentiality will be protected in these circumstances.

WAIVER
As a program member, you agree to waive and release any claims arising or results from the teachings by Shawna Scafe, the coaching by Shawna Scafe and any additional questions, suggestions, or advice provided to you by Shawna Scafe in this program. 

You agree to participate in this program at your own risk. 

RIGHT TO CANCEL
We have the right to remove, expel, or disqualify any party from participation and access to our forum, bulletin board, chat room, or any other user interactive area of our site for any time and for any reason, or for no reason whatsoever, in our sole and absolute discretion. This includes, but is not limited to any violation of this agreement, disruptive behavior, complaints from other parties, any allegedly illegal activity, or for any other reason or for no reason at all.

AGREEMENT
This Agreement (the “Agreement’”) specifies the Terms and Conditions for access to and use of the Life on Purpose Academy and describes the terms and conditions applicable to your access of and use of the Site. This Agreement may be modified at any time by Shawna Scafe upon posting of the modified agreement. Any such modifications shall be effective immediately.

Each use by you shall constitute and be deemed your unconditional acceptance of this Agreement.
